The Young Practitioners Committee represents the interests of early-career members of the Association, including trainees, paralegals, recently qualified patent and trade mark practitioners, and other members at the beginning of their professional careers.

The Committee's objective is to promote engagement, participation, and professional development among younger members of the Association, and to ensure that their perspectives are represented within APTMA. The Committee seeks to identify opportunities to support early-career practitioners through networking, education, mentoring, outreach, and improved access to information and Association activities.

The Committee works closely with the Executive Committee and other APTMA committees to develop and implement initiatives that encourage participation in the profession and in the Association, foster collaboration across the membership, and support the long-term development of the patent and trade mark profession in Ireland.
