Misleading invoice scams targeting IP applicants and rightsholders
APTMA and IPOI have become aware that Irish companies are receiving emails from individuals holding themselves out to be Registered Trade Mark Agents, in relation to European Trade Mark applications and registrations. The Agents mentioned in the emails are not affiliated with the company details contained in these emails and they would appear to be fraudulent.
